On October 8, 2014 my website went live and I posted my very first blog. Celebrating my blog’s 3rd birthday is a little tough due to the recent tragedy here in Las Vegas. My very first post was on a different web host and I no longer have it, which is now bittersweet. The blog post was about my Vegas Staycation and attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival in October 2014.
I still have photos and videos of that weekend, which were used in that first blog post. Looking back through those memories makes me remember why I started my blog and how much I love my hometown, Las Vegas.
I know that Vegas will heal, because we are #VEGASSTRONG. I know that I have to keep exploring this great town that I love so much, so I can keep sharing my experiences with you.
I have learned photography skills and drive my husband & friends crazy with my picture taking. I have learned to invest in myself so I can grow my brand. I have taken classes to learn how to take my blog and social media influencing to the next level. I have joined a number of groups and met so many wonderful bloggers & influencers.
I have learned so much in the last 3 years. Blogging is hard work, becoming an influencer is really hard work, but hard work pays off and I know that this little blog that I started as a hobby is going to keep growing and one day will be my full time job. I am so excited to keep sharing with you and continue to grow this little blog that could!
I want to dedicate this blog post to all of the victims and survivors of the October 1st Las Vegas tragedy. Thank you for your support and following along in my adventures!
